Delete your account

Last Updated: October 5, 2026

About this page

This page explains how to request deletion of your JAMS Incident Management account and the data associated with it. It applies to the web application and to the JAMS Incident Management mobile app, both operated by JAMS Software, LLC.

How to request deletion

Email incidentmanagementsupport@jamssoftware.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject “Account deletion request”.

Please include:

  • The email address of the account to delete
  • Your organization name, if you know it
  • Whether you want your user account deleted, or your organization’s entire workspace deleted

We confirm receipt within two business days and complete verified requests within 30 days. We may ask you to verify ownership of the address before acting on a request.

If your account was created for you by your employer, your administrator can also remove it immediately from the Team Members page in the web application, without contacting us.

What is deleted

On a verified request we delete:

  • Your name, email address and phone number
  • Your account credentials
  • Your notification channel preferences and on-call assignments
  • Registered devices, including the push notification tokens used to deliver alerts to your phone
  • Any Microsoft Teams or Slack identity links associated with your account

What is kept, and for how long

Some records are retained after your account is deleted, because they belong to your organization’s operational history rather than to you personally, or because we are required to keep them:

  • Notification and alert history — retained for a minimum of 30 days, and longer where your organization has set a longer retention period. These records show that an alert was sent and acknowledged; your personal details are removed from them.
  • Audit and security logs — retained for a minimum of 365 days. These exist so an organization can answer who did what and when, and they cannot be selectively erased without destroying that record’s integrity.
  • Billing and transaction records — retained as long as required by tax and accounting law.

If your organization deletes its entire workspace, all of the above is removed once those minimum retention periods have elapsed.
